All right!, I know most people will not be that impressed with ”snow in march”. Especially my friends in Denmark who have pretty much had a blizzard for 3 months straight. (yes this is odd even for Denmark) But Japans weather is really like a roller coaster these days. A short while ago I posted this photo after moving in to the guesthouse in Tanashi.
These pictures were taken some 2 weeks ago, but even since then we have experienced 20 degrees Celsius and sunny skies. If we take a look at how the weather have been in the Tokyo area lately, its really quite up and down in a short period of time.
One day it was 19 degrees and 12 hours later it was 5 degrees. And as you can see from the pictures above the plum trees have already bloomed and lately all the flower petals have been falling like snow in the wind which by the way is really pretty. So imagine my surprise when I looked out the window this morning when I got up around 8pm. (=_=)
Thankfully looking at the weather forecast on my iphone, the weather should start to turn around again soon enough. (^_^)
I mean, its almost time for hanami (Flower viewing when the cherry trees blossom)and I am really looking forward to that. I would be really sad if the cherry trees where to loose their flowers because of the weather. ☹
But I’m hopeful ;)
